Legacy income helps an independent local charity like ourselves to plan more effectively for the future and to safeguard our services.
We recognise that not everyone can afford to help Age Concern financially when they wish to, particularly if you are living on a fixed income.
A gift in your will, once you have provided for friends and family is a valuable way to support Age Concern’s work and to help make a difference to the lives of older people in the future.
This was the case when we were recently left a legacy by a volunteer. This enabled us to continue providing our valuable free advice and information service to older people and their carers.
How do I leave the gift to Age Concern?
Your will must clearly state Age Concern Blackburn with Darwen – Registered Charity No. 508513 to ensure that the gift is kept locally.
We would also be grateful if you could let us know if you have included us in your will.
