Age Concern Blackburn with Darwen
Over 30 years of working with older people in Blackburn and Darwen
Our mission is…"To work with local older people in all their diversity to identify and articulate their views, needs and choices and, where appropriate, to provide quality and flexible services."
and our vision is… "For all older people in Blackburn with Darwen to have respect, information and opportunities for them to be able to live the life they choose."
To meet these aims we work with more than 10,000 local people aged over 50 each year to provide quality services, volunteering opportunities and campaign to influence local and national decision-makers and service providers.
As an independent local charity, in order to achieve these aims we are always in need of financial support. We rely on fundraising, through donations and legacies to enable us to continue to provide the range of services available.
