Outreach Advice Service

A home visiting service is available for older people who are unable to come into our offices, providing advice and information in their own homes.  Advice surgeries are also held in local community venues and sheltered housing. During the last year we have provided home visits to over 500 people.

“Mr Khan was finding he needed an increasing amount of help with washing, dressing and moving about his home. His wife telephoned us for advice on financial help which might be available. We were able to visit Mr & Mrs Khan at home to assist with making a successful claim for attendance allowance.”
