Limbrick Hall provides day care Monday to Friday for mentally and/or physically frail older people to enable them to continue to live in their own homes or with a carer. Transport to and from the centre is provided by specially adapted, wheelchair accessible minibuses with trained escorts.

The centre offers a wide range of therapeutic and stimulating activities including tradional games and handicrafts in addition to personal care services such as bathing, hairdressing and chiropody. A freshly cooked meal is provided at lunchtime with all dietary needs catered for.

Access to the services provided at Limbrick Hall is through a referral from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's Social Services Department following an assessment of need.
